David has been working with our winter brides planning menus, floral and decor - all the details that make a wedding special. Offering a signature cocktail is a great way to add a personal touch. Each of these cocktails would be a perfect way to warm the guests at your winter wedding.
Ginger Sparkler
2 teaspoons finely grated peeled fresh ginger1/2 cup sugar1 bottle (750 ml) dry sparkling wine, such as Cava, Prosecco, or Champagne
Pomegranate Mule
1 oz. vodka1 oz. pomegranate juice
3 oz. ginger beer
Fresh squeeze of lemon juice
Elderflower Cosmo
1/4 cup vodka
2 tablespoons St.-Germain elderflower liqueur
2 tablespoons white cranberry juice
1 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Classic Champagne Cocktail
1 sugar cube
Splash of Angostura bitters
Champagne
Lemon or orange twist, for garnish
Blood Orange Punch
2 bottles (25 oz. each) blood-orange juice, chilled
3 cans (12 oz. each) natural orange soda, such as San Pellegrino
Aranciata, chilled
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
8 oz. light rum, such as Appleton's
5 dashes bitters
1 blood orange, or orange, cut into wedge for garnish
