Winter Wedding Menu Tasting

This week we hosted our Winter Wedding Menu Tasting. It was a great night, giving our clients the opportunity to sample many of the menu selections available to them and sip from our wine list. It gave us the chance to design an event using the floral and decor elements most inspiring to us at the moment. Take a look at our picks for this tasting's design.

We did a combination of table styles, four square tables surrounding one long, wooden communal table that centered the space. The squares were draped in gorgeous, pale salmon dupioni linen and the mahogany communal table was adorned with a garland of weeping podocarpus, cocculus and green pittosporum. This was the first time we have used this particular combination of greens in a garland and it was stunning! The greens were vibrant with an almost grassy texture. It was a very fresh look and would be perfect for spring and summer. All the tables were adorned with centerpieces that included Charity, Senorita, and Juliette garden roses, Quicksand and Mondial roses, white and peach ranunculus, white dahlia, white peony, white wax flower and white astrantia. Accents include seeded eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus, tree ivy, curly willow, huckleberry, myrtle, Italian ruscus and plumosa. The centerpieces were loose, garden-inspired bouquets spilling out of gold urns with some of the accent green gilded in gold. We used a selection of gold votives, tapers and golden candlabras to light the tables.
