We all know that the details of a wedding can make it truly special and beautiful. One of these details is the wedding stationary suite. Jade Social is a fantastic design studio based here in Metro Detroit that creates custom wedding invitation suites and signage. We love working with Liz Fons of Jade Social. She was here at the Conservatory last weekend so we took a moment to ask her about what she does and her creative process.

This past weekend was a special day for us here at the Conservatory. Planterra hosted Olympic ice dancers, Tanith Belbin and Charlie White, along with their family and friends in what the Detroit Free Press called, “Ice Dancing's version of a Royal Wedding.” The bride and groom are so charming and we had a wonderful time working with them.

Over the past couple years we've had the pleasure of working with Alison and Bryan of VLD Events in Ann Arbor several times. And it has truly been our pleasure. Alison and Bryan are a talented team with the ability to make their client's dreams come true. They are creative, organized and fun - everything you need in a wedding planner!

We are often asked for recommendations for musicians and DJs by our clients and we are always thrilled to pass along the name of one of our very favorites, Rodney Lamar Page. Rodney is both a violinist and a DJ! We love it when he is performing at the Conservatory.

One of the great things about work at Planterra is all the talented and creative people we get to work with every day. One of our very favorites is photographer, Marek Dziekonski. We love it when Marek is in the building. He even came out on day to our stylish staff photographs. It was an all-day photoshoot complete with hair, make-up and costumes. It was a blast!
