Candlelit Elegance:  A Tropical Wedding Open House Experience

This past Friday we hosted our first Planterra Wedding Open House. We set the Conservatory for a tropical wedding and opened the space up to our clients, possible future clients and event planners. While sipping champagne and sampling petite desserts, guests strolled through the Conservatory to see exactly how it is transformed for an event.

The ceremony space was set with our wooden, mahogany folding chairs. Our white floral arbor was draped with a fresh greenery and floral garland. The garland of fresh, bright greens was enhanced with peonies, garden roses, burgundy ranunculus, dusty miller, green amaranthus and eucalyptus.

Oversized arrangements were placed at the entrance to the Conservatory and on pedestals at the start of the aisle. These stunning displays were created in golden urns. They were loose and garden-inspired with soft, blush tones, bright greens and pops of red. The arrangements featured pink and white peonies, pale garden roses, burgundy and peach ranunculus, dusty miller and eucalyptus along with red anemones, hanging green amaranthus and willow branches.

We went over the top with specialty lounge furniture including the Alexandra sofa, Chateau bench and chairs and the Planterra favorite, Gatsby table. Place settings at the long communal tables included the Gold Saturn charger, Abbey flatware and Enzo glassware.

It was such a lovely evening and we were thrilled to welcome everyone. And a big thank you to our friend, photographer Marek Dziekonski, for stopping by to take these incredible photos.
